Al dente macaroni, dotted with plump peas & silky onion, is coated in a very special homemade sauce, featuring tomato paste, prego sauce, a spice blend & garlic. Served with o-so-yum ostrich strips.

Spicy Ostrich Fusion Pasta

  • Oil (cooking, olive or coconut)
  • Seasoning (Salt & Pepper)
  • Milk (optional)
  • Paper Towel
  • Water

    Bring a pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta. Cook the pasta until al dente, 10-12 minutes. Drain, reserving the pasta water, and toss through a drizzle of olive oil.

  2. Ostrich

    Place a pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. Pat the Ostrich dry with paper towel. When hot, fry the ostrich until browned, 1-2 minutes (shifting occasionally). Remove from the pan and season.

  3. ALL TOGETHER

    Return the pan to medium heat with a drizzle of oil if necessary. Fry the onion until soft and lightly golden, 4-5 minutes. Add the garlic, tomato paste, and spice mix. Fry until fragrant, 1-2 minutes. Mix in the prego sauce, Peas, pasta, Ostrich, and 50ml [100ml]|#7DA0D7 of milk (optional) or reserved pasta water. Cook until coated, 1-2 minutes. Remove from the heat and season.

  4. DINNER IS READY

    Bowl up the prego pasta and garnish with the parsley. Enjoy, Chef!

  • Garlic Clove - 1

  • Tomato Paste - 25ml

  • Spice Blend - 15ml

  • Prego Sauce - 50ml

  • Peas - 50g
